Summary

Abstract

Seismic Intelligence is an advanced algorithm solution designed to improve surface blasting through seismic wave analysis. Developed in partnership with academic experts, this algorithm combines traditional blast design methods with real-time seismograph data and seismic modeling tools. A standout feature of Seismic Intellegence is its Q-Factor-based vibration modeling, which allows for precise vibration control, slope stability monitoring, and compliance with regulatory standards. The method employs unique delay optimization algorithms, including seismic energy dissipation techniques, to minimize environmental impact while ensuring high-quality fragmentation. Field tests, which involved over 300 blastholes, have demonstrated that the method outperforms traditional load mitigation methods. Additionally, the algorithm supports proprietary electronic delay schemes and includes advanced mapping and reporting features, setting a new standard in controlled blasting.
